KIDZ-FM lenses are specially created for children with pediatric eye conditions, like accommodative strabismus, myopia and/or near point convergence problems; which require customized varifocal lenses.   “No line” progressive lenses provide all the therapeutic benefits without the “old bifocal lines” that can make children self-conscious.  Plus there's an intermediate focal range for better vision.  KIDZ-FM lenses are designed with an exceptionally short corridor of 9mm to allow immediate access to the reading segment and large viewing zones.

Some lenses, like polycarbonate or Trivex^®, have greater impact-resistance* than other lens materials but they also may not have the optical, cosmetic or scratch resistance qualities of those materials.
