PFO Global launches ProFitCalc and SmartEyewear at international Vision Expo East

       GRAPEVINE, TX – The international excitement of Vision Expo East in New York City, proved to be the perfect opportunity for PFO Global introduce an exciting new program called SmartEyewear™. As a recognized pioneer in the delivery of finished eyewear, with the click of a mouse, PFO Global has made this exciting new system a reality in ordering complete eyewear (frame, lenses and add-ons).

Initially offered with 60 private label frame styles in a low cost / value offering and expanded with fashion lines from Reebok, Nigura and Michalsky from Nigura Metzler Optics International, the SmartEyewear collection is ideally structured for today’s challenging economy. Matched with frame designs and brands exclusive to PFO Global, SmartEyewear offers complete eyewear with a full range of high tech ophthalmic lenses produced with the latest free form technology.

The SmartEyewear program supported by a worldwide network of fabrication labs and optical manufacturers all connected through a proprietary system called SmartSoftware from PFO Global. Also announced at VEE was the release of the next generation of ProFitCalc, of the most advanced software calculation systems for advanced Free-Form lenses in the industry. Based on ray tracing, wave front technology and design optimization with aberration control, the calculation program enables labs to produce the full range of identity lenses including Standard, Indoor, Outdoor, Office +, Single Vision and Sport (sv wrap) to be marketed under the identity name or private label.
