Hoa Nguyen has been appointed Executive Vice President of Technology and Operations. Mr. Nguyen brings to PFO a broad range of experience and qualifications, he is a founder of TPEG, VP of Business Development and Financial Services of Valere, a multinational corporation. Hoa is also the founder of the business software solutions firm All-Tech Solutions in Dallas-TX. “This opportunity is perfectly aligned with my experience and my passions, PFO's vision positions us to be the nation’s leading provider of Optical products and services. Hoa received Master of Information Technology Degree from the University of Cincinnati, OH and a PhD Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Aberdeen, OH.

Alan Yuster has been appointed Executive Vice President, Business Development and Second in Command. Mr. Yuster, one of the original founders had previously been serving as Executive Vice President, Operations.

Alan has more than 25 years experience in optical sales, management and operations. He was previously with Optische Werke G. Rodenstock Germany for three years as Director of International Sales-Americas and for 10 years as Vice President of Rodenstock USA. Mr. Yuster was instrumental in launching the first plastic aspheric Cosmolit® lenses and the first aspheric/atoric progressive lens, Multigressiv from Rodenstock North America. Alan served eight years as national sales manager for Younger Optics Manufacturing. He was also a consultant to a number of manufacturers and retail optical stores and has lectured and written numerous articles for optical publications.

With PFO Global's launch of the new Free Form generation software, ProFitCalc, I will be concentrating on commercializing the industry's most advanced Free-Form software world-wide plus additional business opportunities. I look forward to working with distributors and labs both domestically and internationally in bringing our products and designs to the forefront of the industry." Stated Mr. Yuster.

Steve Brewer Executive Vice President, National Accounts / Vision Insurance Programs.

Mr. Brewer brings 35 years of optical industry experience as a senior level executive and industry consultant. Companies and clients that Steve has worked with include Bausch & Lomb, Cooper Vision, Alcon, Essilor of America and United Healthcare.

Steve has a strong grasp of the both the challenges and opportunities that the industry faces. “The expectations of vision consumers are changing. The optical industry has the opportunity to be at the forefront in helping redefine patient’s expectations on the value of vision as part of a healthy lifestyle. However, if we do not act decisively, other forces in corporate healthcare will move quickly to drive their own agendas. New technology like Free-Form lenses offer a wonderful platform for innovation that doctors should embrace. PFO is ideally positioned to bring this new technology to the market through a ‘targeted value’ development strategy.”
